Policies

Dear Wilson Veterinary Clients,

We would like to wish you all a Happy New Year.  We are excited to continue seeing you, along with your adorable fur babies this year.  We would like to make you aware of a few  policy changes that are now in effect.

We understand situations arise in which you must cancel your appointment.  It is our policy that you give us 24 hour notice if you must cancel.  This will allow us to have sufficient time to contact other clients who are waiting for an earlier appointment time.


Canceling and Rescheduling: Customers may cancel or reschedule without penalty by notifying us at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment or reservation time. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at 801-298-3974 or by email at wilsonveterinaryhospital@yahoo.com.   Cancellations are considered “late” when the customer does not cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or reservation time.  Late cancellations will result in the customer being charged a fee of $ 87.00.

Missed Appointments: If a customer misses their scheduled appointment or reservation without canceling or rescheduling, they will be charged $87.00.


Late Appointments:  Appointments are considered late 10 minutes past the scheduled appointment time and will need to be rescheduled so that other appointments do not fall behind schedule.  A cancellation/no-show feel WILL be applied to your account.  Please notify us if you are running late to your appointment.

Unavoidable Circumstances may cause you to cancel within 24 hours or less. For these situations, the decision will be made by the management team.  If you feel that you have a special circumstance, please feel free to ask to speak with the practice manager.  Please note that the reception team does not have permission to remove no-show or cancellation fees’ that have been applied to the account.


Rescheduling:  If you need to reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notification; a $25 fee may be applied to do so.

Surgery: A deposit of $100 is required to schedule surgeries and dental procedures. The same cancellation time frame policies apply.

Provider Cancellation: If, for any reason, we must cancel your scheduled appointment or reservation, we will notify you as soon as possible and will work with you to reschedule or you will receive a full refund. Refunds. Any refunds will be processed in the same method as the original payment. Fee Waiver. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to waive any fee or penalty assessed hereunder for any reason we deem sufficient and reasonable. Other Terms and Conditions.


Collections:  If your account is turned over to our collection agency, there will be additional fees applied.
* Interest charge 18% of outstanding balance.
* Attorney fees, court costs, and collection fees of 33.33% of the outstanding balance.
